Natural Healing Therapies for Your Mind, Body and Spirit

Welcome! I encourage you take a few slow deep breaths - relax your shoulders and jaw. With all that is going on in the world, anxiety, fear and overwhelm can start to feel like your new normal; left unaddressed, it can become a mental illness. With all the chaos, trauma, and uncertainty your body's nervous system can get stuck in fight or flight or even in freeze-mode; left unaddressed it can lead to tight, aching muscles, shallow breathing, chronic health problems and sleepless nights. If it becomes chronic, your brain will make new neuropathways causing your body to react even when the stimulus is no longer there. However, it doesn't have to be that way! I am right here to help you. Together we will get you through this!
I can help you get back to enjoying your life again in a variety of ways - I offer natural healing therapies (e.g., craniosacral therapy, somato-emotional release, energy therapy, Reiki, etc.) which can calm your nervous system, relax your muscles, and relieve some of the pent up energy from stress, grief, and past traumas (see my services page). I also offer a session that blends the natural healing therapies with coping and stress management strategies, along with tools to help retrain your body to respond differently to stress.
If you don't want any hands-on therapies, I can help you in what I call an Empower Hour; this can be done while we sit in my wellness studio or while we walk in nature. An Empower Hour is a time for you to receive guidance on your path toward wellness. Together we will explore a variety of coping strategies, stress management techniques, and resources that match your needs. I can also help you create a healthy self-care plan so you can build a strong immune system and keep your stress levels low. Whatever you need, we will address! If you prefer to connect with others in a small group setting, I offer a variety of workshops that foster resiliency and positive mental health. Find out about workshops here.
