This FREE workshop is open to women from all branches and areas of military services, active or veteran, including family members.
This laid-back day will include:
Items to bring: A bowl (soup bowl size is good), notebook/journal, pen, and anything else that will make you feel comfortable. Wear comfy clothes appropriate for indoors and outdoors.
Location: Conservancy for Healing & Heritage 7410 W. Rawson Ave, Franklin, WI
What is forest bathing? Forest bathing is about slowing down and relaxing in nature. During a guided forest bathing experience, participants will be given a series of invitations to use their senses to engage with the natural world. No special gear is needed, just appropriate clothing for being comfortable outdoors.
I have teamed up with Allison Kitzerow to help facilitate this workshop. Allison is a Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. She is also an Army Veteran and Communications Manager at an outdoor recreation company. She provides forest bathing experiences to help people slow down, relax and engage with nature.
Registration is required.
