~ Breathe! Often when we are stressed or in pain our breath becomes shallow. Take time to do some deep breathing throughout the day. As you breathe in, imagine that light is coming into your body and flowing through your limbs, reaching every part of you. As you exhale, imagine that all the heaviness you are feeling is being released. Continue for as long as needed.
~ Connect with nature. Go sit or walk outside. Listen to the birds, feel the breeze on your face, breathe in the freshness, and smile. If you can't get outside, surround yourself with indoor plants, open your shades and let natural light in.
